While every person is different and some heal more quickly or slowly than others,
here's generally what to expect following your eyebrow procedure:
Day 1: The eyebrows are approximately 40% darker and 10-15% bolder
in width than they will be when healed. Expect light to moderate swelling
and redness. The skin's redness causes the color of the pigment to appear
darker. There is some swelling, although difficult to actually see due
to the thickness of the skin in the eyebrow area. This will subside.
Exfoliation, which begins in a few days, will cause the excess pigment
surrounding the eyebrow to flake away and a more narrow appearance will result.
New skin will heal over the pigmented area and result in a softer appearance
of your eyebrows. Don't be concerned that your eyebrows initially appear darker
and heavier in size than you desire.
Day 2: Conditions remain the same, do not worry! Trust the process.
Day 3: Eyebrows start to itch and will appear a bit thicker in texture. Exfoliation begins.
Day 4: The skin begins to flake, peeling from the outside edges first.
Please do not pick at the scabs.
Day 5: Color finishes flaking off and appears softer and grayer
for a few days until color clarifies.
Days 6-7: The color has lightened from its initial overly-dark appearance.
For the next few days, the color may now be lighter than what the final color will be.
Days 8-10: The final color begins to stabilize and show through.
Days 11-29: Pigment can disappear and reappear after two weeks
so please be patient with final results after 1 month.
Day 30: Please book your follow-up appointment for your touch up session.
After your touch up session, the healing process is the same.
The final results will show after your touch up.
The pigment immediately following the procedure will appear quite dark, and the skin underneath will be red.
About two hours after microblading, you should run a wet cotton swab that has been dipped in
sterilized water over the area. This will get rid of any excess dye that's on your brows.
It will also keep the area sterile. It will take anywhere from 7-14 days for the skin
to begin to appear healed and for the pigment to fade to its regular shade. Follow these
steps to properly take care of your skin after microblading:
Avoid getting the area wet for up to 10 days, which includes keeping your
face dry during a shower.
Don't wear makeup for at least a week. This is because the pigments
are still settling in to the shallow cuts in your skin caused by the blading.
Don't pick at scabs, tug, or itch the eyebrow area.
Avoid saunas, swimming, and excessive sweating until the area is
completely healed and you have a follow-up appointment.
Keep your hair away from your brow line.
Apply recommended healing balm provided and use as directed.
It is critical to follow all aftercare instructions to prevent complications,
scarring and to achieve optimum results. Please read carefully:
Rule 1: Keep the area clean and open to the air. Do not cover with a band-aid or
anything else. Leave it open to air. Air/oxygen provides good and faster healing.
Cleanse the area 4x a day with saline. Dampen a paper towel or cotton round with saline
and blot the area 4x daily. Make sure you wash your hands directly before cleansing the area.
Rule 2: Do NOT soak the treated area in water. You can shower as normal but
keep the area out of the shower spray the best you can and do not let the
area stay wet for more than a few minutes. It is best to keep it dry,
but if you do get it wet, gently pat it dry.
Rule 3: No bathing, swimming, suanas, hot tubs, tanning, or exercise. No exceptions.
Rule 4: Do NOT disrupt the scabbing process
(i.e. no picking, scratching, etc.). All scabbing needs to fall off naturally.
If you force or pick a scab off you will disrupt the process and possibly cause scarring.
It is critical to keep the scabs on as long as possible to achieve optimum results.
Rule 5: Treat the area with TLC. Do NOT do anything at all that could cause issues or problems to
treated area.
Rule 6: Once scabbing has naturally fallen off, apply one drop Vitamin E
oil 3-4 times throughout the day for a minimum of 4 weeks,
or until next lightening session. Do NOT start applying the Vitamin E oil
UNTIL all scabbing has naturally and completely fallen off. It is our goal to
keep the area as dry as possible until all scabs have naturally fallen off.
Rule 7: For lip tattoo removals, please drink all liquids with a straw
until all scabbing has naturally fallen off. Brush with Toms of Maine or
ClassicCrest (no whitening, no peroxide toothpastes). Cut food into small
bites. No biting into a sandwich. Try to keep mouth expressions to a minimum.
There are a couple of things you can do to maintain the look of your treatment
and prevent early signs of fading:
Avoid direct sunlight exposure on your scalp. The UV rays can ruin
the pigments and cause premature fading.
Avoid excessive sweating as this can make the pigments look blotchy and uneven.
During the healing process, small scabs will appear on your scalp. Do not
scratch, pick, or touch these scabs or you'll risk having an infection and
destroy the look of the treatment.

Microblading Service
Microblading permanent makeup is perfect for those who want to enhance their brows,
fill in over-plucked brows that won't grow back, or just simplify their morning routine.
It is also an excellent option for people suffering from conditions that cause hair loss.
The microblading service offers clients a fast, effective and convenient way to keep their
brows in shape for an extended period of time.
The pain level for the procedure is considered mild, but this will depend on each
client's pain tolerance. Prior to the procedure, a topical anesthetic is applied to numb
the area and is also reapplied during the procedure. Everyone responds differently to
anesthetics. During the procedure some clients have likened the feeling to light cat scratches
while others feel no pain at all. Topical anesthetics used may contain lidocaine, prilocaine,
benzocaine, tetracaine and epinephrine.
Safe and proper precautions are taken during each session by using sterilized equipment.
When clients follow pre and post-care instructions, there should be minimal risks or complications.
While allergic reactions to the pigments are rare, they can occur in certain individuals.
A pigment patch test is recommended for individuals with highly sensitive skin or for those
with sensitivities to topic makeup products, gold, silver, nickel, and hair dyes. Patch tests
should be performed 5-7 days prior to the procedure.
Yes. Unfortunately, not all people are good candidates for microblading. First of all,
there are those who must not have the treatment under any circumstances. This group includes
people with heart conditions, pregnant women, people who are under some medical treatment, people
with different allergies, etc. Before the treatment, you will be asked various questions and it will
be established whether you are a candidate or not. Once you are allowed to have the treatment done, you
need to bear in mind that not all skin types are a good surface for microbladed brows. People with oily
skin might notice that their microbladed brows are not dark enough and that the color fades too quickly.
That is why they are advised to have microblading touch ups more often in order to prevent fading. On the
other hand, people with dry skin should not have difficulties with the final outcome since the treatment
on the dry skin gives the best results. Besides your skin type, the speed of fading depends on the
cosmetic products you use, as well as your lifestyle and habits. For example, if you go swimming a
lot or you spend a lot of time in the sun, your brows will normally fade faster.
Please follow these instructions to prepare for your service:
24 hours before your appointment, do NOT drink alcohol or caffeine.
72 hours prior to your appointment, do NOT take Advil or other blood thinners such as
ibuprofen, aspirin, niacin or Vitamin E unless medically necessary.
If receiving botox, then botox should be done 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the procedure.
Avoid booking during your menstrual cycle as this can increase your pain sensitivity.
No waxing, tanning or tinting 3 days before the procedure.
Please arrive to your appointment with no makeup. The procedure involves a lot of
pigment wiping which can ruin your makeup application.
Be prepared for your brows to look a little red and dark! The pigment
will fade in color by up to 40%.
Since microblading pigments are not implanted into the skin a deeply as traditional tattoos,
the area will naturally fade over time. Microblading lasts between 1-3 years,
depending on skin type (normal, oily, dry) and age (youthful/mature). The client's skincare
routine will also affect the duration of the pigment. Clients who tan or use products with AHA
or glycolic acid will notice that their pigment will fade more quickly because their skin will
resurface faster. Each client's color retention will vary. To keep brows looking defined and fresh,
touch-ups are recommended.
As with all cosmetic procedures, individuals should not make their choices lightly.
It is always recommended that clients do their research, understand the procedure and compare
different artists' work and portfolios when making their decisions. Eyebrows will be shaped
and styled to the client's satisfaction prior to the procedure. Every effort will be made to
achieve an even appearance, but clients must realize that our faces are never perfectly
symmetrical. An uneven appearance can be fixed during the touch-up session. Pigment
discoloration and color correction can also be fixed during the the touch-up session.
Microbladed brows will eventually fade away if no additional touch-ups are done.
You are NOT a suitable applicant for this procedure if any of the following applies to you:
Under 18 years of age
Pregnant or lactating
History of keloids or hypertrophic scarring
Diabetic (doctor's clearance required)
Undergoing chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
Suffer from viral infections and/or diseases
Epileptic
Pacemaker of major heart problems
Organ transplant recipient
Suffer from skin irritations or psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)
Sick with the cold, flue, etc.
Have taken Acutane in the past year
Suffer from heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure or poor health in general
Any treatment, medication or illness that compromises the immune system would NOT make
you a good candidate for micropigmentation
Microblading Touch Up
For the best-looking results, a touch up is strongly recommended. Don't think of a microblading
touch up as something optional. Think of it as a second part of the complete microblading treatment,
something obligatory. Without it, the first procedure might be a waste of money. The first touch up
lasts shorter than the initial procedure because its purpose is to correct irregularities that
appeared in the meantime. A touch up is a repetition of the initial procedure but only on the areas
that need to be filled in. It is vital to have the first microblading touch up because only the
combination of the procedure itself and the touch up will provide a satisfying outcome.
It is usually required 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure. You shouldn't ask for it
before the 4-week-period ends because the pigment color has not been settled yet. Give
your brows time to heal properly.

Saline Tattoo Removal
Our saline solution aids in pigment fading and exfoliation and contains aloe
to aid in the healing process. This method works via the osmosis theory.
Osmosis is the movement of water from a less concentrated solution through a
semipermeable membrane (as of a living cell) into a solution of higher concentration,
thus equalizing the concentration on either side of the membrane. Osmosis causes the pigment
to lift out of the skin and form a scab that traps the pigment; so when the scab naturally
falls off, you'll have a lighter tattoo.
The exact number of sessions cannot be predicted or guarenteed. There are different factors that
contribute to how many sessions are needed, including the following:
The pigment type being removed
Age of the tattoo
Depth and saturation of the pigment
The tattoo's location on the body
Sensitivity level of the skin
How well you heal and follow aftercare instructions
Saline tattoo removal has fewer risks of hyper/hypopigmenation, blistering, or
scarring than laser tattoo removal. You may re-tattoo the skin once it is sufficiently healed.
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)
Yes, scalp micropigmentation works for long hair. While the treatment was created initially for
bald heads, scalp micropigmentation can accommodates females with hair loss issues. The way it works
is that it conceals thinning hair by making it look fuller. Pigments are deposited between the hair
follicles to blend the rest of your hair together and disguise bald spots. The artist selects a pigment
that blends in perfectly with your hair colour and work around the problem areas. Whether you have long
hair or short hair, scalp micropigmentation works both ways to bring back your confidence and self-esteem.
But there are a couple of things you need to know before undergoing SMP. For one, it doesn't
replicate the look of long hair. Secondly, the treatment might appear noticeable if you're
experiencing a receding hairline. To find out if you're a suitable candidate for scalp micropigmentation,
it's best to consult a trusted SMP artist who can recommend the best option for you.
An SMP treatment may last anywhere from 3-7 years depending on how the person takes care of it.
While scalp micropigmentation uses permanent pigments, the treatment itself generally fades over time.
Touch ups are required to restore depth and detail to your hair and should be a quick procedure as
opposed to your initial treatment.
You can extend the life of your scalp micropigmentation treatment by using products like
sunscreen to protect it from harmful UV rays. You should also use a water-based moisturiser
to keep your scalp hydrated throughout the day. Ideally, you want to apply a moisturiser after
taking a shower and before going to bed to reduce flaking and fading.
Because the pigments are deposited between the hair follicles, it does not damage them in any way.
SMP aims to create depth and hair stubble without the needle interfering with the actual follicle.
During the procedure, tiny needles penetrate about 2mm deep on the scalp (the epidermis). Even if
the artist were to deposit pigments on the hair follicle, the pigment would be sitting only on the
outermost layer of the skin. It does not affect future hair growth or damage your already existing hair.
Scalp micropigmentation is a safe procedure for all types of female hair loss. If you experience additional
hair problems, all you need is to undergo subsequent sessions to add more pigmentation to your scalp.
